My areola tattooing service is designed to help women and men regain confidence in their bodies after undergoing breast cancer treatment. As someone who has seen first-hand the effects of such procedures,
I know how important it is to be able to reclaim your sense of femininity.
That's why I treat the breast tissue with the utmost care and delicacy, and advise my clients to wait 2-3 months for any potential re-touch work to ensure proper healing.

Before

After

-
Initial Appearance: Right after the procedure, your lips may appear brighter and more vibrant than the final result. This is normal as the colour will soften as it heals.

-
Healing Process: Expect some swelling and tenderness immediately after the tattoo. This usually subsides within a few hours. The true colour will emerge as the lips heal, typically within 5 to 10 days.

-
Final Colour: After healing, the colour will settle and may appear 30-50% lighter than the initial application. The final results will be visible around 4 to 6 weeks post-procedure.

Aftercare Expectations

-
First Few Days:
-
Keep your lips clean and avoid touching them to prevent infection.
-
Avoid hot drinks, spicy foods, and anything that can cause excessive sweating.
-
-
Moisturisation:
-
Apply a recommended ointment or moisturiser to keep your lips hydrated and promote healing.
-
-
Scabbing and Flaking:

Follow-Up

-
Touch-Up Session: A touch-up session is often recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure to enhance colour and correct any uneven areas.
-
Sensitivity: Some individuals may experience mild sensitivity or irritation during the healing process.
-
Colour Variations: It’s common for colour to appear uneven during healing. This usually evens out as the lips settle! - Take note!
-
Allergic Reactions: In rare cases, some might have an allergic reaction to the pigments used. If you notice unusual swelling or redness, please get in touch with me and consult your local GP in serious cases.
